Although we offer no scholarships, Jehovah Jireh Ministries works to train those that have the desire and calling for proclaiming the Gospel but have had little to no opportunity for college or seminary education. We believe the concept of peer training is best for this program because of the relational understanding between pastors. Rather than burden the national pastor with extreme expense to travel to an institution for educational training, this program takes the classroom to them. By providing the training in their homeland, the local pastor gains first-hand experience in a familiar setting and the teacher benefits from the global experience.
In a small group setting (up to 30), the local pastors acquaint themselves with others in their area as they learn together. The workshops are arranged conducive to ministry schedules with no less than two sessions a day for three to five days, depending on the coursework. There is also time provided for the students to converse with the instructor on a more informal basis.
The Pastoral Educational Training program is offered to local pastors at no charge, which encourages their attendance and also assures them of our purpose of Kingdom service.
